Maria Mirabelli is Professor of Political Sociology at the University of Calabria
where she teaches Political Sociology, Sociology of Institutions, Public Administration,
Institutions and Development, Theory of Social Regulation and Security. She has published books and
articles on the functioning of institutions and local development. His research interests
current focus are on processes of transformation of public administration and on
social regulation.
