Numerical methods for geometrically nonlinear analysis of structures with arc-length and Koiter algorithms; geometrically exact models for beams and shells; imperfection sensitivity of structures prone to buckling; optimization of composite structures undergoing buckling; advanced beam models including cross section distortions; solid-shell discretization for composite structures in large displacements; mixed finite elements for material and geometrically nonlinear problems; isogeometric formulations; numerical methods for material nonlinearities, limit and shakedown analysis; implicit dynamics for large deformations.
