GIANLUCA ALOI obtained his PhD in Systems Engineering and Computer Science from the DEIS Department of the University of Calabria in 2003 and in 2004 he assumed the role of University Researcher in the scientific-disciplinary sector (SSD) Telecommunications (ING-INF/03 ). He is currently an Associate Professor in the SSD IINF-03/A - Telecommunications at the DIMES of the University of Calabria, where he is the scientific director of the Telecommunications and Information Theory for Advanced Networking Laboratory (TITAN Lab.). His main research interests include wireless networks, cellular networks, sensor networks, Internet of Things systems and their interoperability, management of resources and services in the Cloud/Edge and IoT (CEI) Continuum, management and orchestration of network resources and processes with the support of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
