Author of 30 scientific publications on international scientific journals (ISI ranked), of two book chapters, of one Italian patent and of about 80 presentations held in international conferences;

Expertise: Chemical processes design and optimization;
Development of transport models suitable for plants design and their scale-up;
Food industry unit operations (extraction, concentration, extrusion, drying, etc.);
Concentration, by ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis, of fruit juices and of natural extracts; Membrane bioreactors with immobilized enzymes;
Selective recovery of valuable products from industrial and food-industry wastes;
Rheological characterization of several materials and influence of rheology and of transport properties on plants performance.
