Born in Cosenza in 1971 the 25th of March. Graduated in chemistry in 1998 the 15th of May with full honors. Title of the thesis: "New functionalizing strategies of glucopyranosides and their gas-phase interaction with amines" Qualified to the chemistry profession in 1998. One year fellowship in 1999 spent at professor Richard Caprioli's Mass Spectrometry Research Center/Vanderbilt University. Ph. D. achieved in 2002; thesis title: "characterization of biomolecules by mass spectrometry" Member of the Italian Chemistry Society (mass spectrometry division) from 2002 PhD achieved in 2002 (Cycle XV) in Chemical Sciences Full researcher of Organic Chemistry from 2005 at the Scientific Faculty of University of Calabria.
