Type A temporary researcher (SSD-Bio/09) at the Department of Biology, Ecology and Earth Sciences - University of Calabria (Unical). Teacher for Methods of Physiological Investigation (Master Degree course in Health Biotechnology, Unical) and for the laboratory activities of System Physiology (Bachelor Degree in Biology, Unical). She carried out teaching activity for the doctoral course in Life Science and Technologies and for the master in "Large Marine Vertebrates" Unical/Unibo. Membership of: the Italian Society of Physiology, the Italian Society of Cardiovascular Research, the Society for Experimental Biology. She carries out her research activity at the laboratory of Organ and System Physiology, at Dibest, Unical. Main research interests: 1. Autocrine-Paracrine modulation of the vertebrate heart 2. The NOS/NO system in vertebrates: crossroads for endocrine/paracrine/autocrine regulation 3. Cardiac rearrangement in response to humoral, physical and environmental stimuli 4. Water bioremediation and fish health.
