The spin-off, with the scientific support of faculty members proponents, all belonging to the group of Electrical Systems for Energy of the University of Calabria (GUSEEUnical), includes among other shareholders, a public-private consortium (CRETE) annoverante some dozens of small towns, and a technology partner private, in order to create production of electricity from renewable sources in Calabria.
The spin-off was created with the idea of using renewable sources such as engines of local development, endogenous, self-sustained small municipalities, often Marinali and marginalized but rich in resources such as renewable energy. Following the paradigm is what can be described using the now famous "slogan" <> to restore economic and financial autonomy to small towns such as Italians, to halt the depopulation and, at the same time, be an important garrison
the territory also in terms of its conservation and management.
Through this initiative, it could also provide financial support for research in the field of alternative energy by turning GUSEE Unical and enable students of various degree courses in which members GUSEE Unical, to conduct profitable internships
