Francesca Vocaturo is Associate Professor at the University of Calabria where she teaches Operations Research. She received her degree in Management Engineering and her PhD in Operations Research from the University of Calabria. She has been involved as lecturer in many post-graduate programs. In 2018, she carried out teaching activity at UPT (Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique, Portugal) within Erasmus+ EU plan "Staff mobility for teaching".  She performed abroad extensive research on Stochastic Optimization at the University of Montreal (Canada) in 2008 and on Combinatorial Optimization at the University of Valencia (Spain) in 2016. She has attended conferences and published papers in journals and books. In 2020, she handled a special issue of Networks (Wiley) as guest editor. Currently, she is associated investigator (local coordinator) of the research unit at the University of Calabria for a project of national interest (PRIN2020) titled "ULTRA OPTYMAL - Urban Logistics and sustainable TRAnsportation: OPtimization under uncertainTY and MAchine Learning". Her main research interests are in Logistics.
