Janna Smirnova is Assistance Professor in Economic Policy at the University of Calabria where she received her PhD, after having obtained a Master Degree in Economics from the University College Dublin. Her research interest lies in the fields of institutional development, environmental economics, gender economics, education and growth. She has many articles published in books and international journals such as Economics Letters, Sustainability, Transformations in Business and Economics, Journal of Sustainable Economy, International Journal of Finance & Economics, Labour Economics and others. She is responsible for International Relations of the Department of Economics, Statistics and Finance and has an expertise in running international mobility programs such as Erasmus+ KA171 where she is in charge as institutional coordinator, as well as in the projects related to international dual degree programs.
