The activity has been carried out in collaboration with several researchers, belonging to Italian and foreign universities and research institutes, in the framework of national and international projects, involving both academic and industrial partners. Author of more than 95 scientific papers on peer reviewed international journals, with more than 1450 citations and H-index: 22 (source Scopus). He has given more than 100 contributions to international conferences and workshops, 66 of them being oral presentations (including 13 invited lectures).
